At Cryos Clinic – Aarhus you can have donor egg treatment, which means you can be treated using eggs donated by an egg donor. Before transferring an egg to the person intended to carry the pregnancy, it is fertilised in a laboratory using sperm from your partner or a sperm donor. Learn more about donor egg treatment here.
Donor egg treatment price
The price of one donor egg treatment at Cryos Clinic is EUR 6,760.
This price includes:
- An initial consultation and follow-up consultations if needed, where we review your medical history and plan the best treatment for you
- Egg donation costs (screening, testing, medicine, and egg retrieval)
- Fertilisation by IVF or ICSI method
- Blastocyst culture
- 1 embryo transfer
- Freezing and storage of excessive blastocysts
- Early pregnancy scan
If you prefer to have the embryo transfer performed at a clinic closer to your home, please contact us for more information about this option.
Additional costs
Please note that medication for the patient undergoing treatment is not included in the prices listed. Furthermore, there will be added costs for either donor sperm or handling of partner sperm.
Partner sperm
If using partner sperm, the cost of freezing per sample is EUR 640. This includes sperm analysis, freezing, mandatory health testing, and three months of storage.
Donor sperm
If you are having double donation treatment, using both donor eggs and donor sperm, the cost of donor sperm will be added to your final treatment costs. The price of donor sperm varies depending on your donor choice:
- Extended Profile – ID Release: EUR 1,500
- Extended Profile – Non-ID Release: EUR 600
- Basic Profile – ID Release: EUR 1000
- Basic Profile – Non-ID Release: EUR 450
The prices include VAT.

Price of additional embryo transfers
If pregnancy is not achieved after the first embryo transfer, and if more than one blastocyst is frozen, additional embryo transfers can be acquired.
The price of additional embryo transfers is EUR 1,350.
The treatment can be repeated in the next cycle.
Storage costs
If more than one blastocyst was frozen, we will store them free of charge until your treatment is complete and a pregnancy is achieved, or if you choose to pause your treatment. Following this, you will be asked to decide whether you want us to extend the storage for a reservation fee. See the reservation fees in the table below.
